Pretending to be potential clients, two suspects called the business owner to open the gate for them at 9am.
According to Capt Johannes Ramphora, Springs police spokesman, as soon as the business owner opened the gate, one suspect pulled out a gun and demanded cash.
Ramphora says the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash, the owner’s handbag and her cellphone before they left the shop.
The suspects fled the scene in the same white Golf in which they arrived.
No shots were fired.
