Motivational speaker removes abortion posters across Springs

Local motivational speaker Jacques Terblanche (36) claims there is an increase and unsafe promotion of abortion in Springs.

“People need to learn how to take responsibility for their choices in life,” says Jacques.

He is passionate about life and feels every living being deserves a chance at survival.

Jacques, who suffers from dopa-responsive dystonia, feels even special-needs children deserve a chance at life.

“My parents kept me when they knew I was going to be a special child, so I am very passionate about this cause,” says Jacques.

“I am aware that some circumstances force a person to go the abortion route, but the increase in young girls choosing this option is growing drastically.”

Jacques firmly believes that these ‘pain-free abortion’ signs seen all over Springs promote unsafe sex and the end result could be more dangerous if people choose to visit these places.

“The equipment used and the sanitation of these places offering cheap, painless abortions is not safe for anyone to use,” says Jacques.

He has started a mission to remove posters promoting cheap, pain-free abortions and which are stuck on street lights, electricity boxes and shop walls all over town.

He first removed the posters stuck all over outside his father’s dentistry practice.

“I saw them there and immediately felt I needed to make a change. That is why I have decided to remove the posters,” he says.

Jacques has been invited to do a talk in Namibia about his outlook on life and his advice to those who are battling to remain positive.
