Two vehicles, a blue New Generation Corolla 1.4 diesel and a white 2.5 Hilux double cab, were found in Sandton on Monday, while the third vehicle, a silver Hilux 3L Legend 45, was found in Tembisa on Tuesday.

According to Bokkie Slabbert, dealer principal, three vehicles were parked in a basement parking at a hotel in Sandton at 1.20am on Monday.
“Later during the course of the morning the suspects returned to the vehicles, but the hotel security became suspicious and approached the suspects,” he says.
The suspects managed to escape by jumping into the Land Cruiser double cab 4.5 V8 and sped through the booms at the parking lot.
The hotel security called the Sandton police, who noticed the vehicles were reported stolen and alerted Slabbert.
Slabbert claims the Legend 45 was most probably also parked in a basement parking lot of an East Rand shopping centre at around 4am on Monday.
“It was at 4am when the tracker signal was detected by the tracker company,” he says.
When the suspects returned a day later to fetch the vehicle, the tracker company picked up the signal in Tembisa.
None of the three vehicles were damaged.
Capt Johannes Ramphora, Springs police spokesman, confirms that three vehicles were returned to their rightful owner.
The suspects gained entry to the premises through a back window and damaged the electrical box and disconnected the alarm system.
They ransacked the property in search of the safe where the keys to all the new vehicles are locked.
Six vehicles were stolen as well as 10 computer boxes and a sound system.
The value of the stolen goods is R2-million.
Slabbert says that to have at least three of the vehicles, worth R1-million, back is a bonus.
“I hope the other three vehicles will be recovered soon,” he concludes.
