Amanda Greybe, Springs police spokesman, says they are currently putting together identi-kits of the six suspects which will be released to the media as soon as they are complete.
She says they overpowered one of the policemen on duty, when he opened the cell to hand over medication, to make their escape.
More information will follow as soon is it is made available by the police.
