All it takes, is one act of kindness

Small acts of kindness can change a person's view of the past year from horrible to amazing.

A year is hard work for everyone, but for a few it can be exceptionally awful and tiresome and they look forward to the end of the year, more so than others.

Some dread the year to come and fear what it will bring.

Every person can make a difference in another’s life, even with the smallest gesture.

End of the year with an act of kindness to a complete stranger, giving them possible hope for the future.

The smallest and easiest gesture can mean a lot to a person who has had a bad day, month or year, all it takes, is a smile.

If someone is looking miserable, give them a true smile to brighten their day, you’ll be amazed what wonders it can do.

When you see an elderly person walking with heavy bags and obviously struggling, it will not do any harm to ask the person if you could help them carry the bags.

People are so caught up in their everyday lives that they rarely notice the struggles of others right in front of them, take a moment and take note of what is going on around you.

If a woman is having difficulty getting her car started in a parking lot, ask her if you can assist her.

This small act gives this woman so much hope and relief to know that she is not struggling alone.

Throw out old clothes, put them in bags and take them to an organisation who desperately needs it.

If you pass someone who clearly lives on the street, and doesn’t have anything but the clothes on their back, give them an old blanket, old shoes or any type of clothing.

These are examples of simple and easy tasks, but can truly change how one sees the world, what means so little to you, can mean the world for someone else.

End off 2015 with kindness and greet 2016 the same way.

There are endless possibilities to offer only a few minutes of help to someone who will forever remember it.
