Full house of bingo fun

The last bingo get-together for the year was held at the SpringsCare Community Centre on Tuesday.

Both senior citizens and younger people enjoyed the bingo session and three lucky winners each received a Christmas gift in a lucky draw.

The hall was packed and tea and cake was served at 10am before the start of the eight bingo games scheduled for the friendship morning.

Club member Margaret McCreath baked the cake and also handed over the three Christmas presents won by Val van Deventer, Marcia Jackson and Audrey Thomson.

Lynette Benade was happy that she won two lines and a cash prize, while Ruth Rowe and Doreen Holtshauzen each won a full house.

Bingo is played every first Tuesday of the month and the next friendship morning will be held on January 12.

Members will enjoy their last lunch on December 11 before the club closes from December 15 to January 11.
