Christmas cheer
Jesus Outreach Feeding Scheme in conjunction with Jesus is Light, a church in Eastvale, visited Morester Primary School on Thursday to feed 26 children.
San van Wyk, administrator of the feeding scheme, and her helper Olga Magagula, has been involved with this project for quite some time.
San says the children are being fed daily at the school and they know each child very well.
“We will miss them during the school holidays. but hope they will enjoy their Christmas gifts,” she says.
The donated gifts and food would not be possible without the assistance of sponsors.
According to San, these sponsors play a huge roll in making the feeding scheme a success.
The children couldn’t wait for their dessert after the meal and their Christmas gifts.
Jabu Mbuli (14) says he enjoyed the food and dessert and is happy to receive such a wonderful gift.
