Festivities started at 10am and continued well into the late afternoon, with the entrance fee being a bag and tin of dog or cat food.
A live band, Draadloos was playing from noon until 6pm.
Fires were lit and families enjoyed a bring and braai.
A jumping castle was erected and provided hours of entertainment for the children.
Members of the Springs SPCA were present and held a raffle sale where the lucky winner will win a big Christmas cake.
