Pieter Scheepers, who lives in Blom Street where the potholes cover the entire length of the road, has allegedly reported the matter to the Ekurhuleni Metro continually since March.
Scheepers claims the metro is not giving any attention to this part of Springs and says it’s high time they start.
The Addie reported on the matter, ‘Potholes take over the street‘, in June, when Scheepers became fed up with, what he claims is, non-existent service delivery from the metro.
“Cars are being damaged in this street and we keep reporting it, but we do not receive any feedback,” he claims.
He adds that there is a massive pothole in front of his driveway which is becoming a nuisance.
Scheepers has been regularly informing the Addie and says he will not rest until these potholes have been tended to.
The Addie is awaiting comment from the Ekurhuleni Metro.
