According to Springs police spokesperson, Capt Johannes Ramphora, the six men were from Morafe Hostel in Soweto and were heading to Bethel when the accident occurred.
Ramphora says the deceased were travelling in a hard body van, with two in the front and four in the back.
There was also a trailer carrying 13 hunting dogs.
“The cause of the accident is unknown, but the car rolled.
“All the men and five of the dogs died on the scene.
“Eight dogs survived and we called the SPCA and they took the animals,” says Ramphora.
A case has been opened.
