Veritas College learners Claudia Katsapas (Grade Eight) and Fabio Pellizzon (Grade Nine) were the recipients of a number of trophies, at the recent Springs Music and Arts Festival.
Claudia won the Monologue trophy and a trophy for Most Promising Senior in the speech category. In the music section, she scooped the Romantic (u-14) trophy and the Contemporary 20th Century trophy.
Fabio received the cash prize for Senior Verse Speaking and the Best Impromptu Public Speaking trophy. In the music section, he won the Best Romantic trophy for his age group.
Claudia and Fabio also share the Best Pianist u-16 trophy.
