Problems with Eskom’s prepaid electricity

Eskom has indicated that prepaid customers might experience technical problems with its online vending system.

Customers may experience a slow, intermittent or offline system.

“We are currently running our back-up system as we attend to a technical problem with our main Prepaid Vending System,” reads a statement released by Eskom.

“Eskom apologises for any inconvenience and we would like to assure all prepaid customers that we are doing everything possible to make the system fully functional again.”

Customers should be able to purchase prepaid electricity at all the normal vending outlets during this time.
