Crime in brief as given by the Springs police on a weekly basis.

Three unknown bakkies with six suspects were spotted on a small holding in Endicott on Friday.

The owner of the small holding in Stock Road was at work at noon, when his employee noticed the suspicious looking vehicles.

Springs police spokesman Capt Johannes Ramphora, says the armed suspects broke down the kitchen door and took a TV, DVD players, jewellery and a vacuum cleaner from the house before driving off.

Six suspects robbed a business in Selection Park on Friday.

Three suspects, one armed with a gun, entered the shop on the corner of Coaton Avenue and Hewitt Street at 4.50pm.

Ramphora says the armed suspect pointed a gun at the owner and demanded cash.

When they left the shop with cash and cellphones another three suspects entered the shop.

These suspects also demanded cash.

They took cash and liquor and left the shop.
