In the article 'Sewage spill in Selcourt' (Springs Advertiser, July 23), it states the leak was reported on July 8.
Metro spokesman Themba Gadebe confirmed they received the complaint on July 8 and says they have sent out a team to unblock the drain.
However, the problem was further up at the main line in the veld between trees.
Gadebe says a team, accompanied by a contractor, went out on Thursday to repair the 150mm diameter sewer pipe.
The line was fully operational by the end of business.
