Four people sustain minor injuries

Two adults and two children were injured in an accident in Casseldale this morning (July 22).

The collision took place at 6.35am, on the corner of Clydesdale and Victoria roads.

When Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department officers, Louis Els and Louwtjie du Toit, arrived at the scene, they found both drivers and their teenage passengers were injured.

Els claims a mini bus and another vehicle were involved in the accident.

Paramedics from Hi-Care Ambulance Service treated a man and his 13-year-old daughter for minor injuries and transported them to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

The paramedics also treated a woman, the driver of the mini bus, and a 14-year-old boy on the scene.

It is believed the woman and the boy will consult their own doctor.

Els says the traffic was affected for about an hour before it was back to normal.
