Old Boys hold their ground
Springs Old Boys soccer teams played Easterns Cup League games on Saturday.
The games were played on home-ground at the Springs Old Boys Club.
The u-7 team kicked off at 8.30am and won their match, 5-0 against Old Benonians.
The u-8 team lost their game to Edenvale 4-0.
In the u-9 match, Giano Lopes scored a hat trick and led the team to a 3-1 victory against Old Benonians.
The u-9 team won the game 4-1.
The u-8 B team lost their game 1-3 to Old Benonians.
Coach Nino Lopes says it was a victorious day for the local teams.
