Seepe is new EBA chairman

The Ekurhuleni Business Association (EBA) announced its newly elected chairman and vice-chairman at the 2014/2015 AGM held recently.

Ramatiyane Seepe will take over the reigns as chairman, while Thabang Hlanyane was elected vice-chairman.

Ramatiyane is also chairman of the East Rand Industrialist’s Association situated in Kempton Park.

Thabang is the chairman of the recently formed Ekurhuleni Black Business Chamber of Commerce and Industry situated in Nigel.

Secretary of the EBA, Anita Greeff ,says the EBA was formed more than 14 years ago at the time of the formation of the Ekurhuleni Metro, as an association of the chambers and business.

This structure is within the municipal boundaries and is the recognised voice of business in dealings with the metro.

The objective of the EBA is to represent industry and commerce and to ensure that the required service delivery by the metro is maintained in terms of ensuring continued business infrastructure.
