Man injured after two vehicles collide
This morning at 9.30am, a man, who was injured during an accident, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The EMPD responded to a call about an accident on the corner of Clydesdale and Colliery roads in Clydesdale, where two vehicles had collided.
According to a witness on the scene, a Tata bakkie turned in front of an oncoming red VW Polo causing the accident.
The driver of the Polo was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
EMPD officers Louis Els and Louwtjie du Toit were assisted by Clydesdale CPF to control the traffic.
The road was closed for about an hour
