House robbery in StruisbultWoman robbed of her car and other belongingsPolice are looking for house robbery suspects

A woman from Robin Street, in Struisbult, was robbed of her car and other belongings last Tuesday, at around 10pm.

Springs police spokesman Capt Johannes Ramphora says the victim was opening the security gate at her back door when she noticed two men trying to gain entry to the house.

The men, who were carrying firearms, pointed these at the victim and instructed her not to scream.

Ramphora added that the robbers later claimed to the victim that they were sent to kill her.

They robbed her of her property, including a TV set, duvet covers and two cellphones, before forcing her into her car’s boot.

They then drove around until 2am, when they dropped her off not far from one of her neighbours’ houses.

No arrests have been made and the police are investigating a case of house robbery.

If you know where the suspects can be found, call the Springs police on 011 365 5700.
