Numsa strike at PFG Building Glass

The crowd started gathering at 4.30am and the strike is now in full swing.

One of the workers, who does not want to be named, says they are taking a stand against the working conditions and shift patterns.

Representative for Numsa, Cecil Swartz says they are going to address the workers regarding an issue that was brought to light by the Numsa lawyers.

He did not want to divulge any more information.

A journalist is currently on the scene awaiting comment from the company and further comment from Numsa.

Company representatives are currently in a meeting with Numsa and a statement will be issued once this meeting has been concluded.
