Pollak Park was abuzz with government officials playing golf in friendly marketing golf game on Saturday.
Committee member and organiser of the game, Andrew Mothibe, says it is important for government officials to network with businesses.
The 80 players entered the Scramble of the Drives two scores to count and tee-off started at 11.30am.
The teams consisted of two men and one woman.
Andrew claims most of the women, representing government, drove all the way from Johannesburg.
Everyone had fun and all complemented the club on the great condition of the course.
The Gingers Golf Day also took place on Saturday and the results are as follow:
The winner is Allen Morgan with 40 points.
The runner up is Marco Schalkwyk with 37 count out.
Dwayne Hamman took third place with 37 points count out.
The longest drive was hit by Alan Hamman.
