Two men were found dead in Gugulethu/Everest on Saturday morning.
Springs police spokesman Captain Johannes Ramphora says the bodies were found by one of the residents .
He says according to a witness who lives in the same yard as the deceased, she heard four gunshots but could not go outside to investigate fearing for her life.
He says eight cartridges were found on the scene.
One of the deceased had a gunshot to the head while the other one had four small holes on the body.
The motive for the murder is still unknown.
No arrest has been made and a case of murder is being investigated by the Springs police.
