Watch Simba’s memorial service and funeral

The services can be viewed via live streaming on SABC3’s Youtube channel and SABC News, Sowetan LIVE reported.

Mhere and his friend Kady-Shay O’Bryan died in a car accident in Johannesburg on Saturday January 31 while making their way to OR Tambo International Airport.

Sowetan LIVE reported, “The accident happened along William Nicol Drive after 05:00.”

Top Billing will also be airing a tribute to Simba, and celebration of his life and his achievements, this Thursday February 5 at 20:30.

The family have requested that rather than flowers, donations be made to a charity close to Simba and the family’s heart for humanitarian organisation JAM (Joint Aid Management) that is currently feeding more than 1 million children on our continent every day.

Upon his move to South Africa, Simba stayed at JAM from the age of 2-years-old and grew up in the missionary.
