The late presenter was reported to have been making his way to OR Tambo International Airport to board a flight to the J&B Met taking place in Cape Town today.

A friend who was travelling with him was also killed while Mhere’s father who was also in the vehicle survived.

He joined Top Billing in 2010 after winning the presenter search.

This year, the charismatic presenter, was expected to be part of the judging panel in search for new talent for the SABC 3 show.
