Stolen laptops recovered

Eleven suspects arrested last Thursday will be facing charges of business robbery.

The Springs police’s investigation continued after 11 laptops and one cellphone were stolen during a business robbery on January 11.

During this robbery a security guard was tied up and guarded by two robbers, while nine other robbers robbed the business.

The police followed up on information received from a source and visited a shop in the Springs central business district where the stolen goods were found.

Spokesman for the Springs police Captain Johannes Ramphora says although they only found 10 laptops at the shop in the CBD, the investigation continued.

After thorough investigations by the detectives the 11th laptop and the cellphone were found in KwaThema.

The detectives are still investigating how the shop in the CBD got the stolen property.
