Johannes Bosman was arrested in Geduld on November 11 last year and claims he is a counselling psychologist and the Chief Executive Officer of Drug Outreach in South Africa.
He pleaded guilty in the Springs Regional Court on January 13 and was fined R2 000.
Spokesman for the Springs police Captain Raphora says, upon further investigation, it was found that Bosman is not a registered health professional.
“We would like community members who were counselled by Bosman at schools or churches where he talked on drugs to come forward,” says Ramphora.
