Tar road needs attention in Casseldale

The tar road in Regent Street, Casseldale is fastly deteriorating.

When turning from Secot street into Regent Road in Casseldale, motorists have to try avoid large potholes that have formed on the road.

According to citizen Fred Jones the metro must have fixed it before, as newly filled potholes are clearly visible.

However, more potholes are forming and the tar that previously filled the old holes is also deteriorating and forming bumps.

Jones says the state of the area worsens every day.

“The metro needs to do a better job than just filling the potholes,” he adds.

No comment was received from the metro but the story will be updated as soon as comment is received.
