Veritas College has a 100% pass rate

Veritas College celebrates a 100% pass rate for the 17th consecutive year.

There were 56 Veritas Matric candidates who achieved 62 distinctions and almost every Matric student achieved a Degree or Diploma pass.

The top candidate, Peter Dravillas, achieved five distinctions of which one was an A+ symbol (90% – 100%) and four A symbols (80% – 89%).

Peter has applied to study medicine in Australia.

Paolo Pellizzon also achieved five distinctions, including one A+ symbol and he is also planning to study Medicine.

Kobus Swart achieved four distinctions of which one was an A+.

The Matric group as a whole achieved 62 distinctions, nine of which were attained by the Mathematics Department.

Veritas College wrote Advanced Programme Mathematics for the fourth year and the results are excellent.

The top mark in this first-year University level subject is 79%.

Five Veritas Matric learners were ranked in the top 1% of the country for Life Orientation or Computer Applications Technology.
