Going for a job interview

An interview for some people is the most stressful experience.

Manager of Business Linkage, Fred Jones, says one should stay calm, take deep breaths and get enough oxygen.

He says in the African culture not making eye contact is a sign of respect, yet in corporate South Africa it is imperative to make eye contact.

Jones says, a potential employee must always be prepared for any type of questions regarding the company and themselves.

He warns ladies to dress appropriately and not wear clothing that is too revealing or clothing that will distract the interviewer.

He adds that should your number change after the interview you must inform the employer as soon as possible.

Jones also says being prompt for an interview is imperative and if late, calling the company on your way there is essential.
