SAPS invites residents to partner with them

They are reaching out to women and children in our community.

With the start of the 16 Days of Activism against Women and Children Abuse on November 25, Springs SAPS invites anyone who wants to contribute to raising of awareness about abuse to join them.

This police station’s members, as well as three local organisations that work with children in need are reaching out to children in Geduld, Gugulethu/Everest, Endicot and the local hospitals during the first week of December.

The child-organisations that are joining hands with the police during this time are the Wild Wild Guardians, Mad Rage against Child Abuse and Hi5 Kids Recovery unit are doing this with the aim to raise awareness about child and women abuse.

Also planned for this time is to paint the children’s room in the Springs court on December 5 and a march on December 10.
