SMS campaign for abused children in Springs

Mrs United Nations finalist of South Africa is holding a campaign for abused children in KwaThema and Springs.

Mariette Kroukamp is one of 12 national finalists for Mrs United Nations, which is not just a “beauty pageant” but is based on how these women make a difference in their local community and is also based on Christianity.

Mariette is having this fundraiser for the children of Springs and KwaThema Child Welfare Society as well as Leratong Place of Love Crisis Centre.

Mariette is aware of the need of funds Springs Child Welfare currently has and is doing her part in raising money for the organisation.

She is hosting an SMS campaign for the abused children of Springs.

By sending an SMS, people will be donating R30.

SMS “springskids” to 42303 to donate R30.

Mariette wants to thank all the sponsors who made all of this possible.

‘Morning of Hope’ was a small step towards the partnership between Kores Ministry, Woman of Worth Motivational Seminars, Leratong Place of Love Crisis Centre and Springs & Kwa-Thema Child Weldfare Society, in uplifting these two Non Profit Organisations in the Springs community.

  1. It’s wonderful to see someone of her calibre putting her muscle behind excellent causes. NPO’s dealing with vulnerable and abused children are struggling at the moment, with little or no assistance from the government. We pray that she will make a huge impact with her campaign and bring money into these empty coffers. Well done for throwing yourself behind such a stigmatised cause.
