The area in question is between Fryer Road in Casseldale and the Blesbokspruit.
The Addie received a few phone calls from concerned community members regarding the rumour that the D’Arigo family are preparing the land for an informal settlement.
Franco D’Arigo, says they are not putting up an informal settlement.
The wooden poles in question are being planted to erect a 1.6m wired fence.
“It is a normal wire fence being put up as the first part of beautifying the area,” he says.
The plan is to start cutting the grass and cleaning up the area which will have a good expression on the new mall currently under construction.
The D’Arigo family are nature lovers and want the area to be cultivated in a year.
