Bumper stickers of stick figurines describing your family don’t pose a danger, as police in America warned.
Captain Paul Ramaloko, spokesman of the SAPS’ Hawks-unit says he never heard nor encountered any criminal acts that were done as a result of people getting information off these stickers.
On the website https://www.myfoxtwincities.com/ the police in Minneapolis – St Paul warned people about these bumper sticker stick figures, saying it portrays the makeup of a family.
“Authorities say the stickers could be offering too much personal information that predators can use to rob or injure people,” the website says.
Even a parking permit can give a clue to criminals about where a person works and when they might not be home and leave a family vulnerable and even the smallest bit of information can be used in the commission of a crime.
