Springs boys bring joy to Potters Haven

They raise money to give food

Grade 10 students of the Springs Muslim School brought much delight to the children of Potters Haven.

Potters Haven, which has been giving a safe home to children for eleven years, received a great donation on Wednesday, July 9.

With 16 children, ten in school and 6 in preschool, it can sometimes be a daunting and difficult challenge to sustain the needs of so many kids.

Hence the reason why these boys’ generous aid was so very welcoming to Marlene Minnie, founder of Potters Haven.

They raised the money, as well as got a few sponsors for extra help, to be able to give such a big donation to the children of Potters Haven.

This was part of an initiative for a Life Orientation project of the grade ten students, which these boys carried out to much success.
