A man who was walking in Second Street in the CBD lost his cash as a result of a robbery.
Captain Johannes Ramphora of the Springs police says the man was walking towards the Station Taxi Rank around 5pm when he was approached by the suspect.
He says the suspect pointed a firearm at the man and searched him.
“He was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash by the suspect,” says Ramphora.
He added that the suspect fled the scene using a blue VW Polo.
A case of robbery with firearm has been opened and the police appeal for assistance in arresting the suspect.
