Residents from the Selcourt and Edelweiss area were met with the sight of a towering inferno as part of the Largo Agricultural area blazed on Saturday.
Selcourt resident Mary Giovanelli sent the Addie the following comment about what she saw: “Saturday afternoon proved a bit of a flurry as emergency services were fully deployed in the largo area.
“A towering inferno met the eye, as one approached the billowing smoke from the agricultural holdings near Sable Inn.”

The Addie is currently investigating the details of the fire and how the SPCA, across the road from the site of the fire, and the Blesbokspruit fared in the fire.
