Residents of Springs Retirement Village received treats from the Springs Rotary Anns last Wednesday.
At 2pm residents gathered in the hall where tea and cake were served.
Anns’ president Cheryl Havenga said the eats were baked by members of the club.
As usual Tippie de Kock and Pat Taylor were dressed up in their polka dot waistcoats entertaining the residents by taking them on a trip down memory lane with songs from yesteryear.
Gifts were handed out to all the residents present.
Resident Thelma Grossett was very surprised when she opened the gift and found a beautiful beaded key ring.
Cheryl said they like to give back to the community and feel it is vital to look after the young and the old people.
