May 7 will see the citizens of South Africa going to the polls to cast their ballot in the election of the national and provincial governments.
Each citizen who is 18 or older has a right to have their say in who will govern the country for the next five years.
Each voter is registered at a specific voter station and will only be able to cast their vote at that polling station on election day.
To find out where you are eligible to vote, SMS your identity number to 32810 (at a cost of R1 per SMS).
You may also call 0800 11 8000 between 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
According to the Independent Electoral Commission’s website, the voting stations in Springs that will be open from 7am to 9pm on May 7 are as follows:

* Payneville Primary School, corner of Chaka and Grootvlei streets, Payneville.
* Temporary tent at old sewage farm, Ncube Street, Everest.
