According to Springs police spokesman Captain Johannes Ramphora, a man was listening to music on his laptop in an outside room in Third Avenue on Saturday at 7pm, when he heard a knock on the front door of the main house.
He immediately turned off his music to peep through the window. He saw three men outside.
According to Capt Ramphora, the man told them the three men then approached the outside room and kicked the door open.
“One of the men pointed a firearm at the victim and ordered him to give them his laptop and cellphone,” says Capt Ramphora.
The robbers stole the laptop and a Nokia cellphone.
No shots were fired and no arrests have been made.
