A man opened a case of carjacking at the Springs Police Station after an incident on Thursday.

He visited an abattoir in the Springs central business district, at 8am to buy meat.

Captain Johannes Ramphora, Springs police spokesman, says the man drove on Paul Kruger Highway towards Dersley after the purchase.
