Pizza outlet in Selcourt robbed of cash

A pizza outlet was robbed in Selcourt on Sunday, July 20.

Just before 9pm, two men entered the shop to order pizza.

After paying for their order, they waited outside the shop.

According to Ramphora the two men left the shop after receiving their pizza.

Most of the staff members left the shop at 9pm, leaving the manager behind to lock up.

Ramphora says the two men allegedly waited for everyone to leave before entered the shop again, complaining about their order.

The manager asked them to come back the next day as she was about to close the shop.

One robber pulled out a firearm and pointed it at the manager.

They ordered her to go to the back of the shop and to open the safe.

Ramphora says they took an undisclosed amount of money from the safe.

The robbers jumped into a white Honda Civic and drove off.

No shots were fired.

No arrests have been made.
