Ma Miriam cares for the needy

"I share what I have, does not matter how little it is."

Thandabantu Community Centre is a place where any person can come to get foot and comfort.

Today is no different, with parents and their children arrived in their numbers to be fed on Mandela Day.

Miriam Ntsele the founder of the centre is known to all as Ma.

She says as a Christian it is expected of you to ‘give when you have to give’.

The scrumptious food ready to be served to the adults is rice, vegetables, chicken and different salads.

“I will also serve fruit salad with home made custard after the main meal,” she adds.

The children will get pizza, milkshake, ice-cream, cold drinks, sweets.

They each received a gift as well.

She thought of everything and also organised a jumping castle for the children.

Miriam says in her house they celebrate Mandela Day everyday, but she feels honoured to help the community on this special day.

Beyond colour and race, Miriam serves the needy because she believes no one else is looking after them.
