An ATM was bombed at 2am, in a bottle store in Strubenvale.
Security camera footage shows a man gaining entrance through the roof of the building.
Captain Johannes Ramphora, Springs police spokesman, says the man is wearing a balaclava and gloves.
“It is difficult to say how many were involved as the footage only shows one man,” he says.
He allegedly gained entrance to place the explosives and to take the money after the explosion.
No one was injured.
Ramphora asks the assistance of the community to make an arrest.
