Same old story

This is my second encounter with the author and I must admit, all her work is the same.

This book tells the tale of a champion skier Lilly Thomas who becomes paralysed after an accident.

Her dreams of becoming an Olympic gold medalist are shattered .

Her single parent father watches as his daughter goes through the motions and prays for better days.

Lilly’s life changes when she meets a man far worse off than she is.

His spirit changes the way she sees her life.

All the themes in Steel’s work revolve around love, heartache, recovery and the journey of life through hardships.

I was hoping for more melodrama or something less predictive, this book was not as exciting as I had hoped.
