Protea school excels at Lions Comp

Learner from Protea School did exceptionally well at the Lions Peace Poster Competition.

Protea School performed exceptionally well at the yearly Lions Club International’s Peace Poster competition held recently.

Christiano da Silva Oliviera is the winner of the school and Charlize Shultz the runner up.

Christiano went through to the next round of this competition.

Some of the art work done by learners has been sold at an auction and is on exhibit at the yearly Education Union’s conference in Johannesburg.

“We are a LSEN school for children with learning disabilities, but follow the  high stream syllabus. I firmly believe our learners do not have to be in the shadow of any pupils from other schools,” says principal Wynandus Bezuidenhout.
