SAPS arrest driver for drugs in Springs CBD
A man was arrested on Wednesday at a police vehicle checkpoint.
The Springs SAPS arrested a 40-year-old man in the Springs CBD for drug possession on Wednesday.
The arrest came during a routine vehicle checkpoint in the area.
According to Springs SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Themba Tshabalala, officers stopped and searched the vehicle, leading to the discovery of the drugs, valued at about R6 000.
The driver appeared before the Springs Magistrate’s Court on September 12.
