Routes to be affected by Presidential Imbizo
The City of Ekurhuleni notifies residents of the routes that will be affected by the Presidential Imbizo taking place in Tsakani on Friday.
Road users are notified of planned road closures in the vicinity of Tsakani Stadium on August 23 due to the Presidential Imbizo to be hosted at the facility from 07:00.
Affected routes are as follows:
• Geluksdal and 12th Road
• 12th Road and Phillip Maritz Street
• 12th Road and Nzima Street
• Zulu Street and Vuyo Street
• Vuyo Street and Sotho Street
• Sotho Street and Malandela Street
• Malandela Street and Modjadji Street.
Road users are encouraged to use demarcated alternative routes such as the following:
From Kwa-Thema
• 12th Road turn left into Vlakfontein Road and right to join Black Road
• 12th Road turn right into Geluksdal Road and R23 then turn left and proceed straight and turn left into
Shakwane Street
• 12th Road turn left into Ndaba Street.
From Rockville (Tsakani)
• Modjadji Street left into Fire Station Tsakani (Ext 11).
From Malandela Street (TsakanI Proper)
• Proceed straight to fire Station into Tsakani Road (Ext 11).
