Gingers golfers welcome new faces

"There was some very good golf played, which is a testament to the condition of the course," said Harvey Scott of the club.

The Gingers golfers welcomed six new players during the monthly Gingers Golf Day held at Pollak Park Golf Club on Saturday.

The golfers enjoyed a great time together while competing on the course. Harvey Scott of the club remarked the new players fairly balance the younger and older golfers.

This month’s winner was Neil Charlton, who took first place with 42 points. Second was Cameron Murray with 41 points, followed by Kyle Robertson in third place with 38 points.

The rest of the results are:

  • Milk tart doubles – Kyle Robertson and Jayden Gould with 46 points.
  • King of the shorts oco – Adrian Lavelle with 10 points.
  • Longest drive – Matthew Hall.
  • Nearest to the pin in 2 – Chad Burnhope.
  • Closest to the pin – Cameron Murray.
  • Rob Bryans won the milk tart lucky draw.
  • Howick congratulated Neil and all the other winners.
