Paw’some events at the SPCA

These fundraising activities make a huge difference to the Springs SPCA’s ability to care for the animals in shelters and make a difference in the neighbourhood.

The Springs SPCA is inviting the community and furry friends to these fundraising activities that will make a difference to the facility.

• February 28
Join the SPCA for an epic 5km night run at 17:30 at the Springs Country Club and stick around afterwards for a drink, pancake or something to eat.

Make it a company, school, or family event. If you cannot attend, show your support by donating.

Please note you will require a torch or headlamp as you will run on the fairways of the golf course.

For the safety of all involved, dogs must be on a secure harness or leash, and dogs must be well-socialized with other dogs.

The entry fee is R50 for children and R120 for adults. The entry includes a badge and free drinks.

• March 9
Spend the night at the SPCA Siestathon 2024 snuggled up under the stars in an enclosure with rescued dogs, cats, and farm animals.

Various packages can be bought; each package includes unlimited furry cuddles, hot chocolate, marshmallows, a movie under the stars, and a campfire.

Merchandise can be pre-ordered until February 20.

All funds raised are for the Springs SPCA.
