A look at what is going on in Springs.

• August 5
Be 100 is hosting an opera recital at the Springs theatre. Northwest University graduate, Sibusiso Simelane, will be debuting his performance. To book visit www.quiket.com. Tickets will also be sold at the door.

• August 9
Machknitz is hosting a Women’s Day Vintage Tea. The venue will be from 10:00 to 14:00.There will be a fashion show and various speakers. Ticket prices include a meal and all funds will be donated to Vita Nova Centre. The venue is 10 Osterloh Road, Casseldale. For more information contact at Adri Grib 083 552 0068.

• Meat World Springs hosts a food market every Saturday from 06:30 to 14:00. With this, Meat World Springs is calling on all vendors to apply to participate. Send your name, ID number and the name and a photograph of the food product you wish to sell for consideration to marketing@meatworld.co.za or call 011 815 1494.

• The Springs Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday. Buy fresh, affordable produce, arts and crafts, delicious food and milk. The venue is Den Akker at President’s Park and it runs from 07:00 to 13:00.
